MEET THE FOUNDERS

PROFESSOR JASON TANAKA STARTED BRAZILIAN JIUJITSU IN 2006. HE OPENED UP HIS OWN ACADEMY IN THE YEAR 2016 ALONG WITH HIS WIFE, GRETCHEN & THEIR TWO BOYS — JADEN & KANEN. HE THEN WAS PROMOTED TO HIS BLACK BELT AS OF JULY 2022 BY PROFESSOR CLARK GRACIE, WHO IS THE FOUNDER OF GRACIE ALLEGIANCE IN SAN DIEGO.

PROFESSOR JASON’S PASSION FOR TEACHING JIUJITSU IS REMARKABLE! EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE AMONG OTHERS IN A GROUP, YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE BEING TRAINED ONE ON ONE. IT IS EDUCATIONAL, PRACTICAL, SUPPORTIVE, AND FUN! EACH STUDENT THAT HAS PASSED THROUGH HAS LEARNED SELF DEFENSE, RIGHTS OF HEALTHY LIVING, EXERCISE, AND THE DEFINITION OF BROTHERHOOD!
